Organising an event

If you would like to organise an activity or an event in a public space on Car-free Sunday, you should first get authorisation from the municipality in which the activity will take place. You can find below the contact details by municipality.

ANDERLECHT

Any inhabitant, neighbourhood committee or association wishing to organise a street event in Anderlecht may contact this department for logistical support, such as for car boots filled with games, or barbecues, etc.

Any resident, neighbourhood committee or association wishing to organise an event in the public space in Anderlecht can contact this department to get the municipality’s authorisation to organise it. They can also seek logistical assistance, such as fences, tables, chairs, etc., on condition this equipment is available.

Please note that all requests must reach the Events Department 45 days before the car-free day.

AUDERGHEM

Request in writing via the online form available on the municipal website.

At least 30 working days before the planned date of the event for events that do not require street closures, do not obstruct traffic, do not require a favorable opinion from SIAMU, and do not take place on a regional road.

At least 45 working days before the planned date of the event for all other events.
