Organising an event

If you would like to organise an activity or an event in a public space on Car-free Sunday, you should first get authorisation from the municipality in which the activity will take place. You can find below the contact details by municipality.

ANDERLECHT

Any inhabitant, neighbourhood committee or association wishing to organise a street event in Anderlecht may contact this department for logistical support, such as for car boots filled with games, or barbecues, etc.

Any resident, neighbourhood committee or association wishing to organise an event in the public space in Anderlecht can contact this department to get the municipality’s authorisation to organise it. They can also seek logistical assistance, such as fences, tables, chairs, etc., on condition this equipment is available.

Please note that all applications must reach the Events Department no later than 45 days before Car-free Sunday.
