Organising an event

If you would like to organise an activity or an event in a public space on Car-free Sunday, you should first get authorisation from the municipality in which the activity will take place. You can find below the contact details by municipality.

All information about free mobility events and activities is gathered on the website of the Mobility Week. This gives organizers greater visibility and allows them to showcase their activity.

ANDERLECHT

Service Événements (Event)

Any inhabitant, neighbourhood committee or association wishing to organise a street event in Anderlecht may contact this department for logistical support, such as for car boots filled with games, or barbecues, etc.

Any resident, neighbourhood committee or association wishing to organise an event on the public space can contact this service to obtain a communal authorisation to organise it as well as logistical assistance such as fences, tables, chairs etc. within the limits of available stock.

Please note that all requests must reach the Events Department 45 days before the car-free day.

FOREST

Planning an event in Forest?
Whether it’s a festival, flea market, street sale, concert, show, neighbourhood event, sporting activity, exhibition, artistic installation, awareness-raising initiative, etc., taking place in a public space or in a municipal building, you must complete an event permit application form and respect the relevant submission deadlines.
