Car-free Sunday will be held on 20 September 2020. As happens every year, Brussels-Capital Region will become Europe’s largest area closed to cars. From 09.30 to 19.00, the city will be calmer, nicer, and more peaceful. It’s an opportunity to (re)discover the Region, without stress, particularly thanks to the ICR (regional cycling network) and the superb Green Walk.
On 1 January 2021, Brussels-Capital Region will become a ‘City 30’.
This will result in more safety, more peaceful spaces, less noise, a friendlier city, and a better quality of life.
