During the Week of Mobility, we organize “Walk this Week”. A competition where you and your team have to walk 10.000 steps every day during one week.
Are you ready? Create your team
and win great prizes.
Brussels Mobility Week 2021 will take place from Thursday 16 to Wednesday 22 September.
The key theme of this week will be walking, an independent way of getting around!
For short journeys, try walking. For slightly longer journeys, Combine Your Feet with other means of transportation!
Car-Free Sunday will take place on 19 September 2021.
Between 09.30 and 19.00, Brussels-Capital Region will become, as happens every year, Europe’s largest area closed to cars. It’s an opportunity to (re)discover the pleasure of walking, riding on a bike or scooter or travelling on public transport in a peaceful and pleasant city. And to get a taste for active mobility!
The Brussels-Capital Region is a Low Emission Zone, which bans the most polluting vehicles from driving. This regulation concerns cars, vans, (mini)buses and coaches, whether they are registered in Belgium or abroad. As of 1 January 2022, Euro 4 vehicles will be banned from entering the zone. To find out if your vehicle is affected, visit lez.brussels.
Today more than 30 services are there to help you to share your mobility in Brussels.
